People setting up in business have a lot of questions: Is my business idea feasible? How can I finance the new business? Where should I open the business? To help new start-ups and entrepreneurs, there are therefore various advisory services, most of them free of charge.

Counselling organisations for business start-ups with migration background

Some cities and municipalities also offer specific advice to foreigners starting up in business. Ask, for instance, at the business promotion unit in your municipality or at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. We have compiled some addresses for you.

Communal and regional business promotion units

Varied counselling assistance, e.g. on approvals and registrations, financial assistance and the search for cooperative partners. Addresses are available from your municipal or city authorities.

Tax consultants

Tax consultants provide assistance on issues relating to tax law, business management, and in choosing the correct legal structure. The German Federal Chamber of Tax Consultants (BSTBK) and German Association of Tax Advisors (DStV), among others, can be of assistance in the search and selection.
